Calibre-Install the ebook management in Ubuntu Linux

sudo apt-get install calibre

Microsoft Reader uses the .lit format for it's ebooks ;

Calibre is a free ebook management that works on Linux, OS X and Windows.It is meant to be a complete e-library solution and thus includes library management, format conversion, news feeds to ebook conversion, as well as e-book reader sync features and an integrated e-book viewer.

Install Adobe Flash Player 10.3 on Fedora 15

1. Change Root User

sudo -i
## OR ##
su -

 

2. Install Adobe YUM Repository RPM package

rpm -ivh http://linuxdownload.adobe.com/adobe-release/adobe-release-i386-1.0-1.noarch.rpm
rpm --import /etc/pki/rpm-gpg/RPM-GPG-KEY-adobe-linux

3. Update Repositories

yum check-update

Fedora 15/14/13/12 and Red Hat (RHEL) 6 64-bit version (x86_64) (32 bit wrapped version)

yum install flash-plugin nspluginwrapper.x86_64 \ 
nspluginwrapper.i686 alsa-plugins-pulseaudio.i686 libcurl.i686
